PASS program notes
PASS is a statewide Council model and program, begun with the FC100 when the Council was the Annenberg Challenge. It serves underperforming C or D schools. The goal is to increase student achievement using the model’s best practices. It teams a CEO, principal, and education coach with a track record of raising achievement and with partnership experience. The CEO commits $100,000 over three years, and works hands-on at the school. The Florida Legislature provides major funding support. There are 74 models and more being developed thanks in part to the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay which recruits CEO’s.
